About Mosinee UMC
God continues to work through the people of Mosinee United Methodist Church. This congregation of around 150 members is a wonderfully healthy, energized, and Spirit-filled congregation. Founded in 1866, Mosinee UMC has a long history of involvement in our local community. We strive, every week, to help everyone feel welcome and provide opportunities for people of all ages to grow in their faith. The people of this church are undoubtedly our greatest asset. They live out a contagious faith and genuinely care for one another. Perhaps one of the most unique traits of this church, though, is that we have all the charm and genuine depth of relationships you can find in a traditional, small town church, but we also have a fun, contemporary, casual atmosphere, with a spacious worship space and programs for all ages.
Most of all, the element that makes this church so wonderful is God’s presence among us. The Holy Spirit is working powerfully through the individuals in this church, to accomplish far more than any of us could do with our own wisdom and strength. It’s truly exciting to be a part of what God is doing here!
Our Mission
Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Our Core Values
Love: We are committed to relationships that embrace all, because God loves us first.
Prayer: We depend on the power of conversation with God.

Caring: We are people who demonstrate compassion and loving kindness.
Our Affiliation
Mosinee UMC is in the Wisconsin Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, a global denomination that opens hearts, opens minds and opens doors through active engagement with our world.
John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as “practical divinity” has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
The United Methodist Church shares a great deal with other Christian denominations. We also have a unique heritage and areas of emphasis. You are invited to learn what we mean when we talk about grace, how we serve people around the world, and ways we grow as disciples of Jesus Christ by going to UMC.org. Also, be sure to check out the UMC FAQ’s too.
